MISSION
Esse
Marine nasce nel 1991 con il nome Contender
Italiana a Torbole, sul Lago di Garda, per iniziativa di Silvio Santoni
e Guus Bierman, presidente di Contender Sailcloth.
|
L'intento è quello di creare un
punto vendita per meglio servire le velerie Italiane nelle
consegne di tessuti Contender realizzando un magazzino con
disponibilità corrente di tutti i tessuti della gamma.
Ben presto le necessità e le richieste delle velerie, nonché il
costante contatto con il loro lavoro, portano la società ad
affiancare alla vendita del tessuto quella di altri articoli
complementari: il cosiddetto Hardware.

Nel corso degli anni il rapporto di
collaborazione con la clientela è divenuto più saldo e
amichevole. I velai hanno premiato la società con la loro
fiducia ed amicizia facendone uno dei loro fornitori preferiti.
Dopo 11 anni di operatività Esse
Marine è divenuta una forza trainante sul mercato Italiano ed
attualmente importa e distribuisce merci di 14 diversi
fornitori da 9 nazioni nel Mondo.
Per il 2001
inoltre, Essemarine è stata premiata da Contender Sailcloth come
miglior rivenditore dell'anno.

Verso la fine
dell'anno 2002 è stato deciso un ampliamento della sede per far
fronte al maggior volume di movimenti.
La struttura è stata ampliata del 50% tramite la realizzazione
di un piano interrato di altri 140 mq. |

started in 1991 under the name Contender Italiana in
Torbole, Lake Garda, created by an idea of Silvio Santoni and Guus
Bierman, president of Contender Sailcloth..

The purpose was
to start an operation to supply the Italian sailmakers with all
the fabrics of the Contender Sailcloth product line and follow
every kind of needs a sailloft could encounter during his
production proccess. Short after starting the sailmaker's needs
have brought the company to deal many other articles related to
the production of sails: the so-called hardware. |

During the years,
the cooperation with the clients has become a strong, friendly
and loyal relationship, the sailmakers have trusted this company
more and more, making it one of theyr main supplyers.
At the moment, after ten years in
the business, Esse Marine- Contender Italiana has become a
driving force in the market, importing and distributing goods of
14 supplyers from 9 different nations around the world.
For the year 2001 Esse Marine
received from her mother company Contender BV the award of "sales
office of the year".

An enlargement of the building
has been made towards the end of the year 2002. To better match the increased
